The team of Prof. Atanas Shterev lays the foundations for the application of the most modern infertility treatment technologies in Bulgaria not only by introducing innovative approaches and methods but also by training many doctors and biologists in the implementation of Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ART). Many reproductive specialists in Bulgaria and the Republic of Macedonia have been trained under the guidance of Prof. Atanas Shterev.

The educational activities at Dr. Shterev Hospital are focused on two main areas: practical training for medical students and students from the professional field of Health Care, postgraduate training for physicians in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology and conducting specialized training courses in obstetrics, gynaecology, and reproductive medicine.

Dr. Shterev Hospital has a wide range of well-trained specialists, advanced equipment, a training program for students and postgraduate students needed for high-quality training and excellent practical skills.

The hospital has two accreditations for training - by the Ministry of Health, and by EBCOG (European Board of the College of Obstetrics and Gynecology). They are both evidence of the hospital's excellent educational capabilities, facilities, advanced equipment, and staff qualifications.
