Hospitalization
Planned hospitalization in the Gynecology ward comes after an initial examination by an Ob/Gyn in the Diagnostic-Consulting Sector of the hospital located on the first floor. The gynecologist will assign you a mandatory set of preoperative examinations, date and time for preoperative consultations with an anesthesiologist and an internist, will introduce you the documentation you have to fill in. Together you will plan the date of the operation.
Emergency hospitalization in the Gynecology ward is 24/7 and is made by the Ob/Gyn or the midwife in charge. 24/7 there is an operating team. All the needed examinations, tests and consultations and the fulfillment of the necessary documentation is done in the hospital.
You will be met on the registration desk by our medical secretaries. They will register you and will call a midwife to show you your room.
What should you bring with you to the hospital?
- ID Card
- Hospitalization Direction (Forms of the Ministry of Health and NHIF No. 7) - when the woman has a continuous contribution to the public health insurance and the birth will be on a clinical path
- Medical documentation – if such wasn’t provided before or in emergency cases
- Personal ambulatory card, signed by the personal physician
- A list with all medicines that the patient used to take at the moment, with dozes
- A list of drugs to which you have an allergy
- The medications that the patient takes in their original package
- Spectacles or contact lenses, if used - bring them with a storage box to avoid possible damage
- Toiletries - comb/hair brush, etc.
- Mobile phone and charger
- Something to read – book, magazine, newspaper
- Underwear
- Comfortable clothes for going back home
It is forbidden to enter the operating room with nail polish, make-up, pins, jewelry, contact lenses.
What do you not need to bring in the hospital and what the hospital provide?
In the ward you will receive:
- Nightgown, robe
- Towel
- Hairdryer
- Disposable slippers
- Disposable toiletries - brush and toothpaste, shampoo, shower hat, soap, cotton buds
- Women's hygiene accessories - ladies' dressings, disposable sheets, etc.
- Cutlery and utensils
