Issuing a birth certification

After birth, a birth announcement is prepared. On the basis of this document, the birth certificate is issued by the municipality itself. The following documentation is required to prepare for a hospital birth announcement:
1. Mother's identity card;
2. The identity card of the father;
3. Marriage certificate if the mother is married.

If the mother is not married, the partner presents a notarized statement of recognition of the child. The child's father must visit a notary public of his choice with his ID card. There he will be issued such a declaration. The deadline for delivery is the day the baby is discharged.

The birth certificate is issued within 14 working days of the birth of the child. For Sofia patients, the document is received from the municipality by the mother's address registration.

For patients from the rest of the country, the birth certificate is obtained from the municipality of Krasna Polyana.
