The amount of the grant is up to 5000 BGN and is provided by CAR. What is the amount covering?

Hormonal tests - 10 x 18 = 180 BGN
Follicular puncture under ultrasound control - 400 BGN
Classic in vitro fertilization - 1300 BGN
Embryo transfer - 340 BGN
Cryopreservation of pre-implantation embryos - 200 BGN
Medicines - up to 2400 BGN

ICSI FERTILIZATION
Ultrasound examinations - 6 x 30 = 180 BGN

Fertilization by ICSI - 1600 BGN
Embryo transfer - 340 BGN

How to apply for funding from CAR?

 
Patients personally submit a set of documents to the Center for Assisted Reproduction.

The set of documents includes applications form and medical documentation prepared by the patient's hospital. The preparation of the materials is free of charge. Each patient receives an official number when submitting the set of documents.

Who can assist you in the preparation of the set of documents?

If you are a patient of Dr. Shterev Hospital, you can contact our health CAR coordinator Ms Vanya Bandarska. The document preparation office is located on floor 3 of our hospital and working hours are Monday - Friday from 09.00 to 16.00, mobile +359 884 301 169.

What is the procedure to get assistance with the documents you need to apply in CAR?

 
The first step is to see your doctor. After completing the necessary examination and description of the medical part, starts the preparation of the application documents.

When the medical documents are prepared, you should contact Ms Vanya Bandarska, for assistance in preparing your application documents.

Can you change the hospital, once approved for funding?

Patients can change the clinic. There is no requirement to perform the procedure at the clinic that prepared the documents.

How to change the clinic?

Fill an application to the director of CAR for changing the hospital. You will receive new approvement with the name of the new clinic on it.

CAR funds these indications of infertility, treatable with ART methods:
1. Tubal infertility in women
2. Male factor infertility
3. Sterility in women associated with lack of ovulation due to LUF syndrome
4. Unexplained infertility
