Group School for future parents - modules

Group School for future parents “We create joy” includes three modules:

I. I Module – Birth preparation
This module will introduce you the theoretical and technical preparation for the birth. You will learn why you have to be an active participant in the process and how important it is to be prepared for this. Besides, you will learn everything about the caesarean section – since the very first moment when you come to the hospital until the limbering-up. You will never hesitate and get confused when the moment has come because you will know what the first signs for the coming birth are. In the module the important subject about nursing care during childbirth.

II. II Module – Breastfeeding
You will learn everything about the breastfeeding – the breast preparation during the pregnancy, breast care before and after feeding the baby, how to breastfeed and to collect the breast milk, the correct feeding techniques, and first aid when the baby choke. You will hear all the breastfeeding theories. In addition, you will learn everything about the stem cells and why they are the best investment in the name of the health of your baby.

III. III Module – First care for the newborn baby
Neonatology specialist will introduce you the first cares for a newborn baby during your stay in the hospital. It is highly important to know what you have to do first when you come back home. We will talk about these things and will exercise simulating with dolls how to feel confident during bathing, dressing, and undressing, and changing the baby's diapers. You will learn what passive gymnastics means and how important it is to massage your baby properly.

Why is the presence of the father important?
The role of the father is very important for the wellbeing of the family. This is the reason we will talk about this in the special classes called “The Daddy Hour” and you will receive important advices.

Thirty pregnant women and their partners can take part in the classes. They start at 11:30.

What is the fee for School for future parents?

Whole monthly course:
You may get a 35 BGN discount if you apply for the entire course – three modules, and pay just 70 BGN. The future father participation is for free. If you own a loyal patient card “Credo Prestige,” the price for School for future parents is 40 BGN.

One module visit:
The fee for one module visit (1 lecture) is 35 BGN.
The visit of the future father is for free.
One module visit for patients who have bought full subscription “Pregnancy monitoring” package – Extended or Optimal, in Dr. Shterev Hospital is 40 BGN. You have to check your “Credo Prestige” card.
