Assoc. Prof. Yunakova has graduated Medical studies and has specialized Obstetrics and Gynecology in The Medical University, Sofia, Bulgaria. She initiates her professional career in The University Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital “Maichin Dom”, Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2006, she obtains a second Masters Degree in "Business Management" and "Health Management”. Since the beginning oh her career as a physician, Dr. Yunakova has been trained and has worked in the field of Assisted Reproductive Techniques under the guidance of prof. Atanas Shterev. In 2007, she specializes in Charite Hospital. Berlin, Germany. From 2001 until 2005, she works as a Senior Expert at the Parliamentary Committee on Healthcare at the 39th National Assembly of The Republic of Bulgaria. In 2013 she wins the award from “SHAPE in-clinic educational program” (Sharing best practice and experience) - a training program for exchange of experience among leading IVF centers worldwide, sponsored by MSD. In 2018 she achieved the academic degree "Associate Professor".
