When is the First Aid Course for Life-threatening Incidents in Babies and Toddlers?
The three modules of the course will be held on December 2, 9 and 16 from 16:30 in the Room for discharge at Dr. Shterev Hospital.

The duration of each module is 90 minutes, and the price for the whole package of three modules is 50 BGN.

What will you learn?
Lectures include directions on how to react when there is an urgent situation, essential principles for first aid, specification of the first aid for children. The lecturers will offer detailed information about what is done in cases like child unconscious, without vital signs, how to stop excessive bleeding, how to deal with the head, limb, and injuries in the respiratory tract and choking. You will learn how to react and treat burns, as well as the emergency response, will be discussed - acute surgical abdomen (appendicitis), acute laryngitis. Adequate help with common illnesses is critical, so the topics discussed will include asthmatic attack, hypoglycemic crisis, meningitis and encephalitis, as well as actions in flu-like conditions.

The course will also include a hands-on module with the lessons learned on the doll.
